Nga Duong grew up in Vietnam surrounded by gemstones from her father's extensive collection. She graduated from Hanoi Industrial Art College in 2001 before leaving Vietnam to attend a three year course on jewelry design at European Institute of Design (IED) in Milan. In her third year, Nga worked as an assistant to the art director of Bulgari in accessories design.
After her study at IED, Nga met her husband Marco Fantini who is a visual artist and sculptor. She spent two years working as an assistant in his studio in Milan. In 2013, Nga returned to Vietnam to start a new brand using gold, silver and gemstones from Vietnam from her father's collection and to direct a gemstones art museum. For this collection she takes great inspiration from marine life. Each item is handmade and all are nickel free.
